Merry Christmas

Well, things got a little crazy around your house the past couple of days. I'm so sorry your Dad was in the hospital yesterday and last night. As soon as you all left your house and I knew you were headed to the emergency room, I put in an urgent call to Santa and begged him to make sure your Dad could be home with you for Christmas. As always, Santa made sure your wish could come true!
I will miss you while I'm gone this year but I'll look forward to next December with you. I hope you girls can do a better job of getting along this year. I know it breaks your parents hearts that you bicker so much and it surely breaks mine too!

I'm sorry

I'm so sorry I haven't written to you in several days! You guys have been so busy and having so much fun. I think you may have forgotten about me. That's ok, I know it's easy to get caught up in the craziness of fun this time of year.
Can you believe it's only 3 more days until Christmas? I can't believe how fast this month has gone by! Whew. I keep seeing more and more presents show up under your Christmas tree. You are two very lucky girls to have so many who love you!
I hope we continue to have fun these last few days before I head back to the North Pole. Let's try to spend some time together, ok.

6 days 'til Christmas!

I'm enjoying this month with you guys so much. We've done so many fun things! I'm really enjoying watching the Christmas cards arrive and be hung in your house. It's so fun to see pictures of so many friends and family members.

Have you girls thought of any last minute gifts you're wishing you'd asked for? You know I can let Santa know faster than you could get a letter to him, and I know Allie won't go sit on a helper's lap to get him a message.....so, be sure and let me know if there's anything you want me to make sure to let Santa know you'd like for Christmas.

Keep being good girls. Keep trying hard to get along and be good girls for your Mom and Dad.

Christmas break

You guys are all officially on Christmas break! YIPPEEEE!!!!! When you found me yesterday, I'd been talking to Santa about how excited I was that you guys were done with school that day!

Today, Emma, you got to have a special day with your Aunt, Uncle and cousins. I can't wait to hear about the movie. I bet it was really funny!

Allie, how nice of your Daddy to play Playmobil with you! He's such a great daddy!

I noticed there are more presents under the tree this morning. I helped your Mom and Dad wrap some gifts last night so I got to see what they got you and I have to say, I think you girls are pretty lucky!

I love this last week leading up to Christmas. There are so many special things that help to really make it start to feel like it's Christmas! I can't wait to see what all we do the next few days! Let's enjoy our last week together!!!!

OMG!!!!!!! 9 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!

I have so much to do! I have to have lunch with Frosty, coordinate with the Prep and Landing crew for the big guy's landing, I have to help your Dad and you wrap your Mommy's presents, we have to decorate cookies, I have to continue to treat everyday like Christmas, make sure there is room for you both on the NICE list and...my favorite...SPREAD CHRISTMAS CHEER BY SINGING LOUD FOR ALL TO HEAR!!!!! WHEW! The days are going to go by quick now. I hope you are ready....

Excitement building

I am sure you girls are counting down the days until Christmas break from school...so, you get a break from school, and so you can be home. I know your Mom is counting down the days too, I've heard her talking about it with your dad! I'm counting down too, because I can't wait to have you girls home so I can see you during the day! I miss you when you're away!

I wonder what wonderful things we'll do next week leading up to Christmas. Are you feeling the Christmas spirit? Are you excited? Excited to spend time with me, during my last week here with you. Excited to spend time with your family. Excited to enjoy all the treats and other fun things that go along with Christmas. So much to be excited for!

You girls have been so good this year! Your Mom and Dad must be so proud of you! You're such sweet girls I wish I got to spend every day of the year with you, not just the 24 days of December leading up to Christmas.

So, I'm counting down the days until Christmas break from school, and I hope you are too! We'll spend next week really feeling the Christmas spirit!

It's getting closer...

Only 3 days left of school for Emma (and your Mom), 1 day left of school for Allie, 11 days until Christmas...I AM SOOOOO EXCITED!!!! I love it when we get closer to that day, you can just feel the excitement in the air! Can you feel it? I just hope you are both filled with Christmas spirit right now! What an wonderful time of year!

I gave Santa my weekly report yesterday. Of course he really did not need my help, you know..."he knows when you are sleeping, he knows when your awake, he knows if you've been bad or good..." but he likes to hear it directly from the elf's mouth...that's me. So we had a long talk about how well you both have been behaving. I do not know if you remember but last year we talked about how tough it can be being sisters and not always getting along. You both have done a much better job this year (especially with sharing me!) but you know you still need to work on getting along. It hurts my little ears when I hear you two fight with each other.

I heard that we get to decorate cookies this weekend! That should be lots of fun! Plus we still have movies to watch the next few days. I know you both have parties coming up at your schools so I hope you have a good time celebrating this wonderful time of year, all your hard work and a very hard earned break!

Can't wait to play with you tonight...Emma, do you think your Mom and Dad will let me go to piano again?

Snow

Can you believe the SNOW!?!?! I LOVE IT! Emma, I can't believe you still had to go to school but your Mom got to stay home....I had fun watching her bake some cookies and do other special things around the house while you guys were gone! Allie, did you have fun at Nana and Papa's today? I heard there is a new little boy there today! I can't wait to hear all about him!

So, what do you think about the special Santa TV channel that we got for you? I saw that it showed Emma is being "nice" but Allie is slightly towards "naughty" because of not listening to your Mommy and Daddy's words! Allie, you're such a sweet girl, and I know you can be a very good girl, so try hard to listen to Mommy and Daddy's words so Santa will fill your stocking with good things :)

Well, with all the snow outside, I guess we'll cozy up on the couch to watch a movie tonight...sounds good! Can't wait for you guys to both get home!

A quiet night

It sure was fun to see my little elf friend Louie last night at your friend's house. Boy, he seems to have as much fun as we do. I have been a little sad this weekend because I have not had both of you at home love on. First Allie stays at Nana and Papas and then Emma stays at her friend's house. Oh well, you both will be back in my arms tonight!

Your dad is going to watch football today, right? I love to watch football games the elves play, I wonder if it is the same?!

Only 13 days left...I can hardly stand it I am so excited.

Are you ready?

I am so ready for this weekend! I have been running around the house making sure everyone and everything is all set for a super fun time. Tonight we watch The Santa Clause and then you guys have a big party tomorrow. This is sooooo fun!

Frosty

I had a lot of fun playing with Frosty today! We danced to his song so many times, I got dizzy!

I'm having so much fun with you guys. Watching the movies with you guys all cuddled up on the couch with your Mom last night was so special!

We've got another weekend coming up. I'm so excited. The most fun things always happen on the weekend because that's when you guys are home from school and your parents don't have to go to work. I wonder what will happen this weekend!?!?!?!?

Only 17 Days!!!

I can't believe only 17 more days until the BIG DAY! How cool?!?! I talked to Santa while you were at Nana & Papa's and gave him a good report about how you have been doing. I know it has been hard for you to share me with each other, but you have been doing well. Keep up the good work. Emma, keep being the helpful, understanding and patient big sister. Allie, make sure you watch your whining and be sure to use your big girl words. You keep doing that and I know Santa will be so excited to bring you gifts on Christmas.

So, we get to watch Mickey's Christmas Carol today. I really like that Mickey Mouse. Have you ever had a chance to meet him? I would LOVE to meet Mickey Mouse, I think that would be so cool! Maybe Santa will give us elves a nice vacation when we return to the North pole. Maybe? If you talk to one of his many helpers, put in a good word for me. ;-)

Emma, thank you for taking me to piano with you tonight. What a special treat! And you played my favorite song...The First Noel! Tee Hee!

You're home!

I'm so excited you guys are going to be home today! I have been so tired, I didn't even have energy to hide, I'm sorry :( I'm just not used to having so much fun....don't worry, I'll get used to it and have more energy for doing my usual fun stuff of hiding, etc.!

I hope you guys had a great time at your Nana and Papa's house last night. I can't wait to hear all about it! I hope you read my post from yesterday (I'm Tired)...if not, make sure you read it too!

Tonight is the Chipmunks Christmas movie and then Emma, you have piano...I wonder if your Mom would let me go so I can hear you play piano duets with Mrs. Bolton! I've heard you practicing your song at home and you sound so beautiful when you play...I'd like to hear some more!!!

I'm tired!

Whew! We have many more weekends like that and I am going to sleep until next Christmas! I am tired this morning. I had a lot of fun watching your family have a marshmallow fight in the house yesterday. I love it when I hear you both laugh! It is the sweetest sound in the world!

So tonight you are staying with Nana & Papa? I heard you are getting to watch Rudolph and go look at Christmas lights with them. You are two very lucky little girls. I will miss you but I could use the rest. I think I am going to relax, read some Christmas books, email my other elf friends, give Santa a report on you and then maybe play some tricks on your Mom & Dad! Tee hee! I love playing tricks on people.

Make sure when you come home on Tuesday, you come look for me, I am trying to think of a REALLY good hiding place this time. You have been so quick to find me all the other days! We will see how good you guys are on Tuesday. Oh, by the way, saw that your Mom made Buckeyes! HMMMMMMMMM! YUMMY!! I will make sure your dad does not eat them all before you get home! ;-)

So much fun

I am having so much fun!

It sure seems like the marshmallow shooters I made you guys are a big hit. Nice job ambushing your mom this morning. I didn't give them to them right away, but I had to give your parents some too...they have to be able to defend themselves somehow!

Emma, your choir performance this morning was great! I enjoyed both shows, but I especially enjoyed the second one since I got to sit with Allie!

Then, your Grandma gave you that lovely Playmobil nativity set and you guys are doing a good job of getting along and working together to set it up. I love watching the Nutcracker! It's such a great story. My favorite part is when the Christmas tree grows and becomes a HUGE tree! So cool!!!

Well, I can't wait for another day with you girls :) Enjoy the rest of your day. I'm going to rest for a bit and watch the rest of the Nutcracker with you.

My sides hurt!

We are having such a great time together! This is so much fun! I have been laughing so hard my sides hurt. Yesterday, while you guys were gone, I got bored and started jumping on your Mom and Dad's bed!! Tee hee!! But, as you know, I got stuck in the fan blades! It was soooo funny!!

Talk about funny, last night we watched Elf (one of my favorites) and this morning we watched Home Alone! Ha ha ha those movies were soooo funny! That little boy in Home Alone cracks me up! Aggghhhhhhhh!!!! Tee Hee!

I heard your mom talking that you might be going to see some lights at a creek?! I might not have the details correct but it sounds like fun and you might get to see one of Santa's helpers. You girls have been doing so well taking care of me that I have a surprise for you. I will work on getting it ready for you. Maybe, just maybe, since we are riding in a car to see lights tomorrow, I can go and see them too! I will ask Santa if I am allowed. I hope he says yes!

Do we watch the Nutcracker soon? I love the Nutcracker! Can't wait!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

It has snowed every day since I got here! Isn't it really starting to feel like Christmas? I just LOVE snow! I hope you get enough that you can go out and play in it before Christmas....that would be fun to see!

I am enjoying my time here with you girls. I'm looking forward to spending my first weekend with you....more movies? Maybe your Mom will let us get started on some Christmas baking!?!?

The Good & The Bad

The Good:
WOW, WOW, WOW! I have had a wonderful first day back with you! Thank you (to your mom and dad too) so much for letting me come to your Nana & Papa's house. They have a beautiful house and I like all of Papa's singing Christmas toys. He sure is silly! Watching Frosty and Frosty Returns yesterday was so much fun. Your tree is so beautiful and to have it lit while we watch our Christmas movies is just too awesome! You guys rock! I can't wait to see what happens next!!

The Bad:
Unfortunately, I have to talk to you both about the bad. I told you this before but you may have forgotten, you cannot fight over me. I know you get excited about my being back, believe me I am thrilled, but you two HAVE to get along with each other or else I have to leave. Santa does not want his house elves to be in a house where there is fighting. He sends house elves to places where there is lots of love, happiness and teamwork. You two are so good with me and take such good care of me that I would hate to have to leave. So PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE try to work together when it comes to playing and taking care of me.

Today will probably be a quiet day for me at home. I will relax, rest up so I can play with you when you get home, talk to Santa about some gift ideas for you and make sure all of your Christmas stuff is in good working order. Frosty and I talked about having lunch together, so we may do that today as well. As you might remember from last year, I am rarely in the same place you left me. When you get home I will probably be hiding somewhere...tee hee...can you find me?

By the way, tell your Mom that I think her hair look AWESOME! She is such a cool lady, I heard she grew out her hair so that they can use it to make wigs for people who are real sick. WOW, so cool!

I am SO GLAD to be back at your house this year! I've missed you so much!!! I've been keeping tabs on you girls, while I've been gone, by reading your Mom's blog posts about you! Sounds like you've had quite a good year and been good girls! I had so much fun at your house last December, that I begged Santa to let me come back again this year!!!

Your house is beautifully decorated again this year! I am looking forward to having lots of fun this month as we get ready for Christmas! Are we watching movies again this year? What else will we be doing? Lights at the zoo? The childrens' Christmas program at church? Cookies? Woo hoo! This is going to be a great month!!!!!

Now, don't forget the rules for a Christmas House Elf:
1. You have to love me with all of your heart.
2. You have to protect me and make sure I don't get hurt.
3. You need to make sure you hug and play with me everyday.
4. You need to make sure I stay healthy and don't get sick in the cold weather.
5. I am not allowed to go to school and it's probably best if I stay in your house so nothing bad happens to me.
